This is probably due to a Flash player problem...either you don't have the latest version of Flash on your computer, OR you have an older version of Gold Miner Vegas that doesn't know what to do with your current version of Flash.
1) Download the newest version of Gold Miner Vegas at the download link above. If after installing and running this version, it still isn't fixed, then try...
2) Downloading and installing the latest version of Flash on your computer. This can be found at the Adobe website at: http://www.adobe.com There should be a "Get Adobe Flash Player" link on this page that should take you to the page where you can get the latest version of Flash.
