 | * KEEP THE CROPS BY THE ANIMAL THAT USES IT, EASIER TO TRANSFER THAT WAY, USE TWO CRATES, AND BUY ALL THE WATER SYSTEMS WHEN THEY COME AVAILABLE. KEEP PLANTING THE PLANTS THAT TAKE LONGER TO GROW, AND PLAN AHEAD FOR THE NEXT ROUND. - Submitted by granete
* When I have spare time (i.e. if I'm almost done when there is a significant amount of time left) I usually prepare things like wool and so on...especially before Market Day. It really doesn't matter how much bonus money you get. You will be able to afford everything. You don't have to scrunt for money. So sacrifice that money for some smart playing. So, go ahead and prepare 3 of everything. That's the amount up to which you can stack things. Market day is only 1 min and 30 secs. You don't have time to wait for a stupid sheep to eat, then to trim it. And you may also what to patch up everything in your garden. Make sure all the plants are planted or whatever. And don't forget, even while the machine is working, you can put in extra ingredients. For e.g you can put in 3 extra tomatoes while the machine is working. Once the 1st batch is finished, the 2nd batch would start. However, if you only put in 2, then it will wait for you to put in a next one. The same applies to the machines that use various ingredients. - Submitted by JQueGameLover
* Each machine can hold a maximum of 3 types of one ingredient in standing. According to the ratio of ingredients, you will be able to maximize on your productivity on a following day once you set up the day before.
Machine Tips:
Ketchup machine - once 3 ketchups have been made and is stacked there, the machine won't do anymore, but you can put 3 boxes of tomatoes to hold at bay, so once you move the boxes, the machine can continue with ONE order.
Cheddar Machine - once 3 cheddars have been made and is stacked there, the machine won't do anymore, but you can put 3 bottles of milk to hold at bay, so once you move the cheddar, the machine can continue with ONE order. Once the machine gets going with that order, then you can add another bottle of milk so as to fill the 2-bottle requirement.
Jam Machine - once 3 jams have been made and is stacked there, the machine won't do anymore, but you can put 3 boxes of grapes & 3 combs of honey to hold at bay, so once you move the finished jam, the machine can continue with ONE order. You will be able to add 2 more boxes of grapes, that will allow another jam to be made, once that starts, you can add the last box of grapes.
Bread Machine - once 3 breads have been made and is stacked there, the machine won't do anymore, but you can put 3 boxes of wheat, 3 bottles of milk & 3 eggs to hold at bay, so once you move the bread, the machine can continue with THREE orders non-stop. This is the best one. - Submitted by JQueGameLover
* 1) Plan ahead (money won't be a problem) by making sure your farm is well stocked for the next day (especially before Farmer's Market). Make sure produce that can be stacked is full (like milk, ketchup etc) before completing last order.
2) Get multiples of animals/machines to increase production capacity. Bee hives take up little space but honey sells for $500 at farmers market!
3) The move button is your friend! Use it to micromanage your farm - move crops that need watering/replanting nearer to the well/seeds so that you don't have to move as far. Later on with the sprinkler, have one sprinkler in one place and move the crops needing watering to the sprinkler as they become 'thirsty'. This way you only need one and you save space! - Submitted by gtpeh
* The last level is the hardest. Make sure you have all the basics like milk, wool and eggs. Leave it next to the animals. The can store 3 items. Try to feed them as much as you can during the game so you can't run out of milk, wool and eggs. - Submitted by marbeer
