OOPS sorry LYNN but ALL SAINTS DAY comes After the Day of the Dias De Los Muertos.
DAY OF DEAD begins on OCT 30, OCT 31 the souls are being prepared
for ALL SAINTS DAY and on NOV 1 ALL SAINTS DAY, is when they souls go to Heaven or wherever.
anyways it is a good holiday to celebrate, if you respect the dead and honor them..
but thanks anyways LYNN. I was just curious if it was celebrated in other states.
Los Angeles celebrates it big along with HOLLYWOOD

    V. Girl, The only thing I see about the (day of the dead) is a Mexican tradition.
And on the calendar it shows the day is Nov. 2nd. Sounds like a BIG party!
I have been on this earth for 55 yrs. and never heard of this.
Sounds scary and maybe some fun also!!

It is a Mexican holiday but here in California,
Latinos celebrate it by throwing picnics and parties over love one grave sites even on Halloween..
I never heard it celebrated in other states except for the South West states
