Calculation Solitaire

Calculation Solitaire puts your math skills and strategic thinking to the test with a game that’s as clever as it is challenging. To begin, a single card is turned face-up from the stock and can be played either onto the top of any of the four tableau piles, or directly onto one of the foundations if the move works in your favor.

The top card of any tableau pile is also fair game for the foundations, as long as it’s the next number needed in that particular foundation’s sequence.

Here’s what makes this game unique: at the start of play, an Ace, Two, Three, and Four — each from any suit — are pulled from the deck and set up as your four foundations. The Ace foundation then builds upward in standard sequence, one card at a time, all the way until you reach the King, regardless of suit.

The remaining three foundations follow the same climb toward King, but with a twist — they build by twos, threes, and fours respectively, requiring you to think several steps ahead as you calculate your moves.

Victory is achieved once every card has successfully found its place on the foundations, while the game ends in a loss if you run out of possible moves before completing the sequence.
