Crescent Solitaire challenges you to achieve victory by successfully moving every card from the outer piles into the central foundations.
The foundations follow two building patterns: those starting with Kings build downward by suit all the way to Ace, while those starting with Aces build upward by suit up to King, creating a satisfying symmetry as you play.
The topmost card of each pile is always available to move onto another pile, as long as both cards share the same suit and follow either an ascending or descending sequence.
Here’s a clever feature — once the King and Ace foundations are in proper sequence, you’re able to transfer cards freely between them, with the exception of the base cards, which stay put to anchor each foundation.
If you find yourself with no further moves available, don’t worry — the piles can be reshuffled to give you a fresh start, though keep in mind you’re limited to a maximum of 3 shuffles per game.
