Kings in the Corners Solitaire offers a delightfully different take on classic card games, with the ultimate goal being to successfully place all 4 Kings, 4 Queens, and 4 Jacks into their specially marked piles. Once that’s accomplished, victory is yours — regardless of where the remaining cards happen to land.
Gameplay begins by moving the top card of the stock into an empty pile within the tableau. Whenever a King appears, it’s placed into the pile designated for Kings, and the same rule applies for Queens and Jacks as they come up. All other cards are placed throughout the tableau, and importantly, the tableau must be completely filled before any cards can be removed from play.
Once the tableau is full, you can start pairing up any two cards that add up to 10 and removing them from the board — Tens, however, are the exception and must be removed on their own, one at a time. After you’ve cleared every possible pair, the tableau is refilled once again from the stock, and the process continues.
Ultimately, the game is won once all 12 Kings, Queens, and Jacks have found their proper places, marking a satisfying and well-earned victory.
