Sorry but I find it hard to believe that the Backgammon dice rolls are random. Why?
Because I can predict the roll about 40% of the time.
If either I or the computer makes a move, the resulting next roll is clearly dependent on the previous roll or move.

A problem with the dice rolls.
Have been playing a long time and it is VERY clear that the dice rolls are not random but are programmed.
This makes the games predictable and boring.
Why can’t the dice rolls be random like they are in a real game?

Too bad you don’t have an upload, so I could show you the problem I’ve encountered. Rolled a 4 and 5.
All my pieces occupy point 2, 3, 4. I should be able to take 2 pieces off the 4th point,
but I get a message, “With this move you can’t play all dices. [spelling error, should be die]
Please do another moves that allows you play both dices.”
I have start a new game since I can’t go backwards or forward.

UPDATE: Developer told me that bug is fixed.
Hope it’s true this time. 🙂

The bug with the AI being on the bar is not fixed completely yet.
I was baring off with 3 pieces in the third spot and 3 on the one spot, with the AI having 2 on the bar.
It rolled 5 and 1, placed one of its pieces in the five spot and moved another on the opposite side of the board one spot.
All the while with a piece on the bar.

The bug Sheila reported December 12, 2020 it not fixed.
The computer had two on the bar, got one off with a 5 roll and moved that piece 1 to place me on the bar.
All the while the computer’s other piece remained on the bar unable to move in to the 1 position.

UPDATE: Fixed bug reported by Sheilla.

Twice now the computer player has made an illegal move.
I had knocked off two computer player pieces that had to be put back. so the computer rolled and got one of them back on, leaving one still off.
THEN the computer moved the one that got replaced again leaving the one that was knocked off. This is not a legitimate play in Backgammon.
ALL knocked off pieces have to be replaced before any other pieces can be moved. You need to fix this. It is basic to Backgammon.
